Hot!!!

Just spent several days with my oldest son, his wife and our two grandsons at the Wine Country RV Resort in Paso Robles, CA. Had a little get together/barbecue at our youngest son's home. First time we've all been together in about 3 years. But, IT WAS HOT - 105 TO 108. Happy to report that our little Cougar 5er, with its 13,500 a/c managed to stay cool. Kept the day/night shades closed and had foil insulation in the sunny side windows.

BTW, this is a nice park. the kids could ride their bikes, swing sets and dog runs, 'The Ravine' water park is right across the road and wine tasting at EOS winery is walking distance from the park. Had a great time. The staff were beyond friendly, the sites were clean and level. The only 'snug' sites we saw were the 'economy' sites that back up against hwy 46. Would definitely stay there again.

Great to hear!! Only problem is your bringing the heat back home with you. Predict 103 Monday and 105 Tuesday.

103 I won't complain about 92. You win. Look on the bright side, you can cook without lighting the grill

Good to hear.

I just bought and cut some reflectix for the bathroom skylight and large windows inside. I've been using the Camco sunshields for the vents. It looks like the reflectix should be good with my 15k A/C.

I put some window film from home depot on our TT and it made a major difference. We stayed in Norwalk overweekend, it was hot. The film kept alot of heat down an ac dint have to run as long to cool unit down. It was a major pain to install, alot of colorful language used, but worth it.

I stay at that park all the time and have been for year, we love the Paso Robles area. Actually I am heading to the park for 2 weeks.
What spot did you stay in I like number 71 and 150 the door face east so the trailer blocks the afternoon sun.
Clad you had a great time and I have been there in July before and it was in the 100rds + for over a week.
We like going to Parkfield earthquake capital of California and they have the best meat and chili.

Stayed in #185 & 186. Fairly new section of park so no grass and the trees are still small. Still nice.
