We use a small ceramic heater and can set it up so it will not quite keep the temp at 65° so the furnace cycles about every hour at exterior temp around 25°. So far down to 22° and the furnace has been enough to keep the underbelly warm enough not to freeze the pipes. Finding the balance took a while, but worth no frozen lines.
