Hi all!

My husband and I have been researching RVs for several months and been through the gamet.... We started out thinking we wanted a class a but when my husband drove one he decided that wasn't for him. We looked at travel trailers but the quality seemed lacking after the class As so we changed to fifth wheels. Unfortunately our F150 wasn't cleared for a fifth so we sold it and bought a F250 Diesel and that opened up the nicer 5ers.

Glad we found this site. Sorry to ramble.

Good luck, did a dealer actual tell you that the 150 would not work, that is rare... Most dealer usually tell people that their truck is good for the triple axle fifth wheel, regardless. The 250 will definitely open things up for you. For us, we stick with the travel trailers as my wife does not like the interior height of most fifth wheels.

Hi all,

No, it was FORD that told me the 150 wasn't approved for fifth wheels. I kept getting different numbers from the different dealers so I called FORD directly to get the bottom line on what we could tow.

The 250 is better but the fifth wheels we like need a 350 dually.... Wish I had found this site before we swapped trucks. Looks like we might end up having to swap again...

LOVE this site!!
