Great. Something else to check into. This is my 3rd 5th and I had several TT before this. I have never had any suspension problems. I'll have to keep an eye on this. I have 1,000 miles on my camper so far this year and another 2,000 planed miles. I must have 7,000 miles on it easily over it's life so far.

Here are pictures of my broken links. Luckily I have a brother-in-law that had some suitable metal and equipment to build me new ones. I had to use a nut cutter to remove one of the frozen nuts. The new ones are slightly thicker and of equal metal density.

I attribute my failures to the many - nearly 90 degree - sharp turns I’ve had to make parking the trailer. I have 6000# Dexter axles. The second picture shows the new thicker ones.

I carry a set of spares in the trailer’s tool box.

My husband found the exact same thing on our last toyhauler, a Fuzion 310. He just happened to be under there for another reason, and saw it. Scary.

Ride height

I just put on the dexter ez-flex triple kit on my fuzion about 4 months ago, not only was it worth every penny but it absolutely did NOT change the ride height at all!

Within the first few months of ownership of my 342 I had also changed out the plastic bushings and thin shackles for the complete Dexter ex-flex kit. A couple of the stock plastic bushings were already shot. My ride height remained the same also.
