Wink First issue with my 293sab.

Ok, took my first trip with my new 5th wheel and guess what happened? The battery in the radio remote was dead. Can you believe it!... I think I need to take the whole thing back for a refund!!! Just kidding. After 12 years of pulling a TT, I think I could get used to pulling a 5th wheel. We have now had it for 2 months and one 600 mile trip and, I think I finally did something right (I just wish my wife would admit it).

Living in paradise,

Thanks for the replies. I'm starting to get the hang of this trailer, feel like Ricky Ricardo in the long long trailer. Watch me back this thing up! Lol

Well at least you don't have 95lb dogs, in my case dog. Every time I back up, I turn around and he standing on the rear seat. He thinks it's time to put his face in mine and blocks about everything from view.

Love my 293...the biggest downfall IMHO, is the electric awning. Either I'm not doing something right, or the engineers have never tried napping, or sleeping with it extended. I would gladly trade the power, for a manual awning, I never had a lick of trouble.
