That sucks. Been pricing parts for my 06 F350 6.0 and that's going to be an ouch!

FYI. Check XDP.com. At least for the 6.0, Garrett makes a OEM replacement which is an upgrade (more vanes better repsonse, etc.) for about $100 or so less than a reman and no core deposit (usually pretty steep).

Good luck on the replacement job.

I feel your pain. On my way to our summer vacation at Myrtle beach.
Mine was blown valve cover gaskets with all the wiring built in them. NOW the new updated ones have the wiring outside of the gasket. $1000 dollars plus a $250 tow bill. Did a fuel tank upfit also.

I'm on my 3rd Turbo on my 06 F350 6.0...Thank goodness for our extended warranty...but that's up next year. What p...sed me off was I phoned Ford asking if a pyrometer install would void my warranty.....The answer was yes...Well I thanked them for the 9k in warranty work they had completed and my next turbo install....I have an email into Garrett regarding my next turbo purchase.....The beast gets one Turbo on me... full pole....then its off to the scrap heap (well sold for cheap).
