Hi from SoCal

My wife and I just replaced our 1999 Prowler 5th wheel with a 2020 Cougar 307RES. I swore I would never suffer the depreciation of buying a new RV, but the Prowler had reached end of life and we fell in love with this floor plan. Fingers crossed that we get anything close to 21 years out of the new rig.

We tow with a 2013 Chevy 2500. We're close to the truck's payload limit, but I've had it on the scale and confirmed that we're on the good side of all limits.

I retired this year. We plan on spending 25-50% of our time on the road.
