hot water heater

After searching high and low for the hot water heater bypass for our Passport 267 (under our lower bunk thanks previous posters) we are struggling as to which way to turn the bypass to obtain hot water. Unfortunately the manual has provided limited help. Any suggestions would be great.

Typically, the water flows the direction of the handle. That said, turn it one way, see if you hear water flowing into the water heater. If not, turn it the other way. There's only two choices, so you've got a 50/50 chance of getting it right the first time.

The first thing we need to determine is whether you have a hot water heater or a water heater (big difference). One has two valves the other has one valve. Once you determine that, the handle of the valve should be in line with the pipe to allow water to flow.
