Propane Fridge

We are heading out next week for 3 days of no hookups. Anyone know how much propane the fridge uses? Can't find the CUFT, but it's a Norcold N611LT at 1500BTUH. Thanks.

If your going to be using your fridge on propane for 3 days, you'll be just fine -- assuming that you are starting out with tanks that aren't sitting on empty! We've gone considerably longer than that without running out. Relax and forget about your propane!

We usually drycamp and are able to run the referigerator, hot water heater and do most of our indoor cooking for about 3 weeks on a 30 lb tank of propane.

You will be fine! during the freak oct/nov snow storm in the north east our house had no power or water for a week. so we moved into the 5r and had no problems had not winterized it yet had 1/2 tank of fresh water that was close but as fasr as the propane bearly used 1/2 of 1 30lb tank. Enjoy your trip and relax

Wow, I didn't think it would run that long that's great. I have two 30lb'ers, so I should be set for awhile. Thanks guys.

The only big user of Propane is the furnace. Water Heater, frig and stove really sip it and you could go for weeks just using those appliances. Furnace runs all night for a few nights and you better be checking the tanks weights.
