291TG bunk hight

Looking for some help... I have a 2012 Laredo 291TG but it is in winter sotrage so I can't get to it. I am looking to get a ladder for the top bunk, they come in either 60" or 66". Does anyone know the hight of the top bunk?

Hi Jason,

I just checked the height of the top bunk in my 2011 291TG and they measure 51" to the top of the frame rail and about 53-1/2" to the top of the mattress. My 7 yr old just climbs up the ladder on the single bunk side the climbs across the cabinet between the bunks.

Time to get out your trig book to figure out what angle and setback you’ll get with those ladders. Or just a tape measure and a mark on your wall will do. Mark 51” up on your wall, then pull 60” of tape from your tape measure and see how far that lands from the wall. Then try again with 66” of tape measure.
