New Speakers to Replace Furrion

Does anyone have a recommendation for higher quality speakers that will fit in the hole that the Furrion DV3200 speakers are in? The opening is approximately 8" x 4 1/2". The Furrion speakers are pretty poor. They came in my 2017 Alpine 3401RS. I haven't had any luck finding better ones that will fit. Thanks.

Try a search in the Forum for "speaker replacement" and lots of threads will come up. Some folks have used Crutchfields IIRC.

For speakers and whatever your budget, try Crutchfield. I've been buying whatever I need from here since the late '70s and have yet to be disappointed: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-O8GQfDVGp9U/ (you may need to copy and paste this = my PC is hurtin' today)

Are these the speakers in the entertainment center powered by the radio/cd player. I found the speakers aren’t that bad, the radio is junk though. I bypassed the radio as I don’t use it and installed an automotive amplifier. It sounds far better now.

Thanks for the replies. I agree that Crutchfield is a good resource for speakers. The main problem is the existing cabinet limits the size to 4 1/2 x 8 that is smaller than most good speakers. The TV shelf is above and the fireplace facia is below.

Tom T, what amplifier did you use? Like you we don't use the radio at all, but we do run an Ipod, CDs and stream Spotify from our computer through it so we would like good sounds.

The amplifier I installed is the Sony XMS400D. I bought it from Crutchfield.
