Sheets
Can we talk about bed sheets? We have a narrow king bed (72×80). I found a set that did not take me to the cleaners. Washed and dry them and now I am alligator wrestling the fitted sheet on (They shrank that much). I was really thinking of buying a flat king sheet for the fitted. Just use those thingamigigs that keep the sheet from riding up.
Buying king sheets will be cheaper buying at brick and mortar then CW or on line.
Did anyone used a flat sheet for a fitted on their king bed? How did it work out?
TIA

DW and I buy sheets that are on sale at either CW or where ever. We have found the same scenario with our queen bed in the TT.

Have you looked on line for "rv king" or "rv queen" sheets? Wherever you buy them would have to be cheaper than CW or rv specific stores as if says rv the price usually doubles.

Well now a lil' tip from your Uncle Jeffrey! Best decision we "finally" made was purchasing a real (Queen) mattress from IKEA. I cut the platform down on each side about 5-inches. Not only do the queen sheets fit perfectly, it is much easier to get around the bed to make it. Before, the mattress was almost wall to wall.

If I understand right you had a king and downsized the bed to a queen. Love the idea of more space around the bed to make it. Also being able to buy sheets where ever I want. But Uncle Jeffrey (lol) I, no we finally have a king bed. Being in the military we never got one because not sure it would fit in the next home. Plus Lord knows how it would be handled by the movers. Love the idea though.

If "Uncle Jeffrey" can do it to an Alpine, then I can do it to a Mobile Suites. Left up to us we would drag that king mattress outside and set it on fire. We have been queen mattress people for 46 years and this king in the RV just isn't getting it. I am very close to finding a way to trim the bed framing down and put our queen back in. I just want it to look factory finished.

Very simple hack.... be sure that you have enough 'overhanging' board over your under bed storage (we did). I cut off 5.5 inches on each side. The length was already the same as the new mattress. It is so nice to purchase sheets anywhere and any pattern!

We just purchase standard King size sheet sets. They are made for King size mattresses, 76 X 80, so they are a little loose on the sides, but work very well for us and are not that hard to put on. If you want, a California King is 72 X 84, so that would also work, just tuck the extra at the end of the mattress.
