I was in their over the Easter break. Only looking..
BIG park, lots of permanent(seasonal) sites. rentals all in the middle, some with shade some without. all the bath-houses are card coded or push button to get into them. cant remember which it was. nice pools, NICE and high rates..
IT is a very nice campground/trailer park. This was Easter break and the rental sites were about 3/4 full.lots of folks moving around. Golfcarts are allowed from what I could see. I have never stayed there.
Hope this helps..

If you go to www.campgroundreviews.com, the site has a number of reviews of parks at Emerald Isle or ones that are very close to it.

I have been to Emerald Isle Travel Park several times. It does hold up to its 5 star rating. However, they charge you for EVERYTHING ... there is a $5 per dog per day fee, $5 for the bathroom key (refundable when you turn the key back in), $10/day for wifi, $10/day for cable. You cannot put out your rugs on their grass, you can only use a small door mat.

Their sites are about $80/night!

Again, it's a nice campground but they are too expensive for me! I would rather spend the extra gas and go to Myrtle Beach for cheaper rates and free wifi, free cable, free pets and free bathrooms.

Just my 2 cents ...

If there's a WalMart across the street, I'd be staying in the parking lot and walking along the fence to "get the feel" of expensive camping. And I thought $40 a night was expensive, WOW !!!

I just looked at those rates again. WOW!!!
50 Amp Service………..$5.00 per night extra
Visitors (NO MATTER AGE)..$5.00 per person
Extra People beyond 4…………...$5.00 per night
Cable TV ……………………...$2.00 per night extra
Bathhouse Key …….$5.00 CASH Deposit
Pets (NO MATTER SIZE)…..$5.00 per night extra (Must be on leash at all times)
Gate Card………….$50.00 CASH Deposit (Deposit for Key/Gate Card refundable upon return)
Rates can go as high $110.00 a night during summer months.

I don't understand how they have stayed in business so long and continue to fill up during holidays and summer. I won't go there again! I have kids and dogs that I enjoy having with me!

Hey Buck ... I took my boys up to Sandusky this summer! We all enjoyed Cedar Point!
