I have read you should always run the slide all the way out or all the way in. In my Springdale i cannot get to the inside slide seal next to the tv cabinet with the slide in. Would it be alright to run in part way out so you could put the rubber lube on it?

What type of slide mechanism? Schwintek is the only one that doesn’t like to be stopped mid way.

You can get away with it a couple of times, just run it completely out and back in to re synch the motors.
