Best RV app for ipad/iphone

Hi,

I am seeking advice / suggestions for the best mobile applications for RVs, camping, checklists, etc.

I am in canada, many campground apps don't have details or content for Canada.

A campground app I have that seems ok is "camp & rv" by all stays, but it was expensive.

Maybe an app with campground reviews (again with Canadian content)

Any apps with videos for instructions / tutorials? Such as winterizing, empty tanks, etc...

Thanks.

Not an app but an excellent Internet site for information on campgrounds throughout North America - including Canada and Mexico is www.campgroundreviews.com

It has an extensive list of Canadian campgrounds which includes reviews and comments by folks who have stayed there, a cg website, cost of camping, maps, contact numbers, etc. Best of all, it's free.

Try WeCampHere. It has campground descriptions, reviews and links to websites for the US and Canada.

Rv app please

Hi all,

Thanks. I agree the website is great, but would prefer an app where Internet may be unavailable.

Thanks.

I've used RVpark reviews and found they only post a very limited number of rv parks. An example of this is if you search oscoda MI you will get zero results and I know of at least 6 campgrounds in that area some are public and some are private. Is there a park review web site that will list all? I haven't found it yet.

I use the good Sam app and love it. It has most camp grounds with photos and reviews and much more.

I downloaded "Mobile RVing" app on my iPhone. Haven't used it on the road but have been using it for planning purposes. Really enjoying it so far. Plus it's free.

Sounds like you are looking for an App with an offline (local copy) database. I would be surprised if an app like that existed. In my experience an app like this would simply have an enhanced user experience but would still require an Internet connection in order to access the online DB (think of the Yelp model).

Not saying such an animal doesn't exist, but if it does, it would be a rare one. If you do find one, please let us know.

iPhone/iPad Camping App

I use the following apps on my iPhone/iPad:
Woodall's,
GS (Good Sam) Camping,
Park Maps, and
Reserve America.

Not any one of them is complete; but they do a good job.

I just searched Good Sam Camping all that came up was an app called "Allstays" which COSTS $10.00!!
I've never paid more than .99 for an app & 90% we use are free

I like my Good Sam App but have recently started using Google Voice on my Android. It's as simple as saying "Find Nearby Campgrounds" and wholla.. LOL That and I have the WalMart app to find them too as they make great places to take a break for a bit.

I couldn't find the "Mobile RVing" app for my iPhone. But I really like the "RV Parky" app!

I didn't think much of either "Oh, Ranger ParkFinder" or "ParkFindUSA".

The "RV Ready" free checklist app seems like it might be workable. You put in your own list items and can attach pictures too.
