Umbilical connector issue?
Does this look normal with some of these prongs spread wide and others not? I've had some issues with the truck losing connectivity to the trailer brakes. I believe the trailer brake connection is one of those spread wide. Time to replace the umbilical line?

I have used a small flathead screwdriver to push the blades closer together.

Airlift 5000 bags, Prodigy brake control, 5 gauges on the pillar.Used to tow a '97 Jayco 323RKS.

Now an RVIA registered tech. Retired from Law enforcement in 2008 after 25+ yrs.

Did that work as a permanent fix or only temporary? I'm wondering if I need a higher quality connector.

The customers that I have done that for didn’t come back, so I guess it worked.

Ok thanks. I will give that a try once camper returns from the dealer on another issue.

might be caused by wiggling it when you push it in or pull it out…put some dielectric grease on it also
