Charging the batteries…

I’m going to be moving our Cougar from an uncovered space to a new location that will have a cover. My concern is that the solar panels will no longer be in the sunlight. Any suggestions on how to keep my batteries charged? I don’t believe that there are any outlets nearby to plug into…

If it were me, I'd pull the batteries and store them at home on a battery maintainer like the Battery Tender: https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tende...a-434255813726
We park our Cougar next to the house and I still pull the batteries and store them in the garage. This way I can easily monitor the electrolyte levels during the winter.

If you have no electric source and your camper is going to be stored for a while, then pulling the batteries and "tending" to them at home is best way to take care of them. If the camper is going to be parked for only a month, I'd leave the batteries and just make sure they were disconnected so there is absolutely no parasitic draw on them. If sitting longer, then bringing them home with you is probably the best thing.

Thanks for the assistance. Will turning off the big red "battery disconnect" accomplish the same thing?

The "battery Disconnect" typically will not turn off the CO2 detector of the radio memory circuits. You will have a parasitic draw on your battery and will be depleted in about a week. Either install an additional disconnect at the negative terminal of the battery, or simply disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
