Blind screw pulled out
One of the sliding blinds on our slide out pulled out of the wall. My wife thinks that the screws were mounted too far down causing them to be too tight.
Thoughts on how to fix this? I don't know if that specific location has additional support for the screw, or if both screws for the blind can be moved up about a 1/2 inch. My wife said not to worry about the holes left she'll use her cricut and make a decal to hide it.
Thought about using some pieces of wood, like toothpick size, and gluing in the hole then replace the screw in the same place, but the other side appears to be coming lose as well and will likely need the same treatment.
Already had to fix the trim around the door, looked like when the factory used the nail gun to attach it the PSI was too high and all nails went through the trim.
Haven't been out camping yet, it's already falling apart!?
TIA

You have to have some tension on the strings for the blinds to stay up. You can try using a skewer and the original hole, or you could move it up or down.

Yes, I know there needs to be tension. There was so much tension here that lifting the blind to open it pulled the screw out, just seems excessive.
Going to try the toothpick/skewer trick, if it pulls out again I'll have to move it up to reduce the tension a bit.

I had the same issue.
I glued wood matches in the original hole.
After the glue dried, I cut them flush and reinstalled the original screw.
So far, it's holding.

If the screw is not in a stud, you can try plastic pop-toggle anchors. They are specific for the thickness of the wall board.

In "most" blind screw holes, there's nothing behind the hole but styrofoam, so any "matchstick repair" is doomed to fail. Also, if you look at the video you posted, only the top 1/8" would be around the screw, and that's where the countersink is located and there's no threads to grip. See the red circle in the photo below......
About the only "good gripping, less than 1" deep repairs" that I know of are expanding jack nuts like this photo. Here's one source: https://www.amazon.com/Hillman-Group..._t3_B00NUFMIIO Even they must be "measured so the throat is shallow enough to give the repair enough "grip behind the luan panel.
Sometimes you can "luck out" and set them (get them to expand without turning in the hole) with a screwdriver, but there is a tool available to "set them properly". It's essentially a pair of pliers that pull the threaded bolt while applying pressure to the top of the jacknut, pulling the bolt "out of the hole" which causes the arms to expand behind the panel. https://www.amazon.com/Setting-Paick...51-spons&psc=1

i keep forgetting about the structural peculiarities of rvs…the good thing about amazon is you can assemble a really nice tackle box of specialty fasteners fairly cheap.
and i never remember to buy things like that while i am at the store…but sitting on my couch at 9:32 pm when i’m saying “yeah i need a box of those”…i can just hit “add to cart” and “buy now” and a few days later …poof …it’s here
although i have more unopened boxes in my workshop with odds and ends then i ever had in the past

Amazon is my "weakest link" as well... Here at home, it's 2-4 day delivery via UPS. When we're in Mt Airy, NC (about half the time these days) it's either same day or next day delivery on virtually everything. So, the temptation to "see if they can really deliver it today" is a very real consideration.
I catch myself "testing Amazon" with things I don't need, but that would be "nice to have and a good test of their speed"....
Hmmmm Maybe Amazon is to me what You Tube is to you ROFL

After having the anchors come loose numerous times and having to restring one of those blinds, I took them out and installed venetian blinds.

I had the same problem. In my case I felt the problem was that keystone used too few screws; given the weight and tension involved, one screw on each end and one in the middle wasn't enough and put too much load on the end screws. Instead of trying to reuse the existing holes, I drilled new ones (in the blind's metal top plate) and used enough to spread out the load.
