Phoenix to Boise and beyond

I've found the best route from.the east side is take the 202 all the way around to 10 then take the 303 to 60 and Wickenburg. Then hit 93 to 40.
Lots of 93 is 4 lane now
Then 93 to 40 at kingman take 93 beale Street all the way to Vegas

Then take the 215 to the 15 north.
From there take the 93 cut off
Nice loves station there

Then take the 93 to the 318 375 cut off
Take that and follow it it will save you an hour
Taking 93 thru Caliente. About a mile down the cutoff is a cutoff to 375 the extraterrestrial hiway
And a half mile up is the alien museum .
Nice souvenirs.
Come back and hit 318.great road it's where they do the silver state speed classic every year
Take this route to hiway 6 Then right into ely.
Nice loves at bottom of the hill head down into town turn right on 93 and follow to wells Then jack pot. Further up you can take the Buell cut off or go thru twin falls to 84 Then left to Boise and points all the way to Portland

Plenty of spots to pull off for the night
I like parking on the side roads with the trucks
Or in a rest stop but plenty of spots

Perfect timing, I am traveling to Pheonix shortly from NE BC, was looking at that route as opposed to I 15 thru Montana.

Yea you can come down thru Bonners ferry and south the problem with going down 15 is salt lake 15 and the layton is all that's there you are better off if you are going down 15 is ro take the cut off to reno at tremonton then south at wells.
I head up to the nw twice a year and once spent 4hours on 15 thru slc

Gonna say you can go to Bonners ferry down thru Coeur de alien keep going south to lewiston
Then down 12 to pendleton pick up 84 there.
Easy drive very pretty.or you could take hells canyon all the way to just outside Boise
The cut off is in lewiston

I miss Boise! Lived out there for sixteen years when I was stationed at Mountain Home AFB, loved it. My daughter, who now lives in Wa state says it has changed a lot since I left in 1999. No doubt!

Might do a cross country this year or next back out there.

You would not recognize it it is 8 lanes going through

On each side and it's built up from Nampa all the way around past Gowan field .
Really has grown.

Yep, owned a home in Meridian. Daughter said now you can't tell where Meridian ends and Boise begins.
