Plastic Cover on roof broken...what is it?
We've got this cover over the cargo area on our Outback 335CG that is broken. Looking on the inside, the only thing remotely near it is an HVAC air vent. Tried to get a decent pic...anybody know what this is?

If you are not first owner previous owner probably used loctite to reattach it causing plastic to become brittle.

Before I replaced new cap, I spray painted them white (sanded then a bunch of coats). This protects the plastic from UV so they won't crack like your old ones.
