2021 Alpine 3650RL rear blackout shade

I have a 2021 3650RL Alpine that had the rear ICD brand blackout shade spring fail and the blind will not go up. The material has now also come loose from the two sided tape and fell off. Any ideas on how to repair the ICD roller blackout shade spring or where to buy a replacement blind besides the local Keystone dealer? I did not find anything about them on the internet.

If those are Irvine roll up shades then these links will help you..

My older Alpine uses the MCD brand of roll up shades and there are parts and help available for those as well

Also - with the roll up shades I highly suggest that when you own roll all the shades fully up..

Doing so prevents the shade from constantly working against the internal spring brake mechanism ( causing it to fail ) and you will eventually discover a roll up shade completely rolled out and will not longer retract or hold position.

This tip was given to me many years ago from MCD roll up blind support when I had one of my shades fully extend.. in 8 years since I started towing with blinds fully up have never had any further issues with the roll up shades

I will take that advice and make sure that the blinds are rolled up from now on!

I tried to call Irvine Shade today but the call would not go through as if the number was disconnected. I have emailed them and now waiting on them to reply about the replacement spring I need.
