Newbie from Newport, Oregon

Hi all! Just spent the first full week in my 30' Sprinter and so far so good.

I haven't found it difficult to move from a stix & brix house to my new space. Storage is a problem here where it rains all Winter, but I am renting a storage unit until I can get my life sorted out and then I want to take this show on the road!

Welcome, I'm sure you will adjust very quickly and enjoy your new home. You may find that the only problem is that you have too much "Stuff" that you really don't need. Travel safely, Hank

Welcome, We like to stay at south beach state park when passing thru. If you have any Qs about places whille traveling in OR. post it or PM me. Althought it rains alot in Newport, it is a great place. I am not sure I would want to leave. Ken

LOL! I knew I had too much stuff before I made this decision and am in the process of selling what I can and donating the rest. I took out the ginormous king-sized bed and will use that room as a studio while I sleep on the pull-out - I am a fiber artist and wannabe violin maker, so having the back room available is a better use of the space for me.

South Beach State Park is a lovely place to stay - I've heard nothing but good things from friends who have camped there. Newport is lovely, but I did not choose to move here, the now-ex did, and I am looking to go back to the mountains where I belong
