Plains to Fla road trip

We are planning a bit of a road trip this summer & would greatly appreciate any input on campgrounds/ locations on our route.

Night 1 Memphis Area
Night 2 Birmingham area
Night 3 Tallahassee area

Coming back we would like to do a beach day on the Florida coast......

Thanks in advance & look forward to seeing some ideas and information on places to stop & stay.

St Augustine is nice. Laid back and plenty to do around town.
Being able to drive onto beach is nice. Don't have to drag cooler and all beach stuff. The 2 campgrounds I've stayed at were enjoyable. Ocean grove resort (nothing resort about it) but I'd go back and Bryn Mwar campground. This one was a bit tight to manuevar in wih a 40ft'er but right next to beach.
