Quick connect for gas grill.

We just bought a 22 Montana 295 RL. Maybe there is a good reason, but why would they mount the gas grill quick connect for a gas grill, underneath on the frame, directly under the steps?

Because that was the shortest run from the stove and heater... be glad they added it, they didn't on my 2020 Avalanche.

I didn’t want to crawl underneath my 2014 Cougar 337fls so I just added Extend-A-Stay to the tank and have several hoses, one custom made for length. Don’t have to remove regulators to use.

Another "alternate fix" is to buy a $1 half inch black iron union and a $1 six inch nipple and remove the current quick disconnect fitting, extend it 6 or 8 inches and reinstall it. That'll put it closer to the trailer side and keep you from crawling under the trailer to connect your grill....

If that "simple 6 or 8 inches" isn't enough, you can "custom fit" the quick disconnect by using elbows, different lengths of pipe and your imagination...

It's not difficult to plumb the fitting so it's convenient for the way you want to use your grill... It just takes a bit of imagination and a trip to Lowe's, Home Depot or any hardware store.....
