Inverter battery mod

Just wanted to share last trip experience with the battery / inverter mod from last Spring. If you have been thinking of installing a battery bank and inverter, go for it! Not cheap, however really worth it for our use, that's for sure. As previously posted, we installed 4X AGM Optima ( blue 55ah total 220ah) batteries and the 2K inverter. On our vacation trip, we stopped at a Walmart on the way, used the microwave, Maxxfans, TV, water pump for evening/morning showers, charged/used computers and phones, everything on the 120V, very comfortable and departed with 12.5V showing on the batteries. First year without having to start the generator in the back of the truck (which we brought anyway). We are giving thumbs up to this mod for sure.
