Friction door experince

Any clever ideas for holding a friction entrance door open in the wind?

Either a strut, or if the door will open far enough without hitting an awning arm just install a regular door catch.

My main door just gave out. I really haven't given it much though about the door hitting the awning opened all the way back till now.

There are dozens if not hundreds of versions of these gadgets and will last for many years if not longer:



I wouldn't trust a friction door holder as far as I could heave the door
