Window shade mounting screw repair/modification

Hello all, I recently had 2 window shade coverings that had 1 of their mounting screws pulled from the wall. Seems that the screw just didn't have the support behind it. I tried replacing the screws with one that was slightly larger in diameter but it still didn't stay in the wall without feeling loose. What I ended up doing was to use drywall anchors that I bought at home depot. I cut the end of it off (the sharp end so there was no way it would go all the way through the wall and damage the outside wall) and then screwed them into the wall. I then put the original screw that was used to mount the window shade to the wall. This worked great and it seems to be much stronger than what was originally done. I included a picture of the drywall anchor I used but it does not have the end cut off. The shade mount covers the drywall anchor nicely so you don't see it. Hope this helps others that have had this same problem.
