How to keep wasps out of here-Cougar

I've got most of the camper sealed up pretty well. Any idea how to keep wasps out of this vent? I was thinking of trying fix some fine mesh to the backside of the cover...

Thanks for any feedback

I picked up a pack of screens that are made for those vents at CW. They come with small zip ties to attach them to the vents. You also may want to pick of some screens to cover furnace vents I also put a piece of screen inside water heater vents fr the same reason

Hi all, I used 1/8" hardware cloth (screen) on my fridge & water heater vents, no bugs.----Lou----

Hardware store? Home improvement store? Building supply store? It's just standard window screen material. There's no magic mystery material in this nice mod.

If you do the furnace or water heater, get steel screening material. If you do just the fridge, any screening material will work.

Alternate?

I had seen someone mentioned using Flea/Tick collars for pets? Not sure it would work, but seems like a easy solution to buy several of these and put them in the refrigerator and WH space.

Anyone else do this? I keep planning on putting the screen material on, but have been fairly lazy getting this accomplished. I'll probably be more motivated sometime when I remove the cover sometime and get stung.:eek

I have been leery about screen material because of something I read on the internet (always true!) about reduced air flow. I've never had any problems while using my trailer, but seal all openings during periods of storage.

I use 2" blue painter's tape. Easy to put on, easy to remove. Doesn't affect surface finish and a $5 roll lasts a couple of years.

If you are having trouble with insect invaders during trailer use, my solution will not work.
