The best kitchen taps

So I want to replace the kitchen taps as there weren't made of gold they were made of plastic.
So what's the best taps that I should buy?
Should I get one with a sprayer? BTW I have a double sink.

Not to piggy back, but I would be interested to hear what has or has not worked for others as well...

I say this "tongue in cheek": The "best one" is the one mamma likes (provided you can find that style with the appropriate undersink connections. It's a "wise man" that defers the question, "Which faucet is best?" to the one who uses that faucet !!!!!

I would make a trip to home Depot or Lowes and pick the faucet you like best and install it. The water supply connections are the same. You just need to make sure the sink hole pattern is compatible.

Worry more about the hardness of the water that you will be connected to.
Case in point, I bought a really nice Brass splitter for the connection to the
Parks water system (SW USA, and well water), well, it lasted 3 months till I had
to dunk it in CLR to clean all the calcium out of it. That cleaning lasted 2 months.
So, ... my recommendation is if you don't have any type of water conditioning
or softening system, get something that doesn't have a negative reaction
(or would that properly be a positive reaction???), with hard water.

Balance is necessary between the user and the maintainer

...and that's all I got to say about that.

I will combine two of the above answers. Go to Home Depot /Lowes, ask the DW which one she wants, buy and install it. They are the same as used in homes so you can go $35 cheap, $300 nice or anywhere in between, her choice.

So I read this and immediately asked the wife "Hey honey, do you want a better faucet in the camper to make it easier when you wash the dishes?" Eureka! She assumed I was being a thoughtful husband. Thanks JRTJH!

Please Jesus, don't let my wife read this.

If you were being thoughtful you would have asked if you could get a nicer faucet for when you wash dishes

We both do dishes and we both like the faucet we have. Bingo! Life is good!

Sometimes I wonder about us, because we really like the trailer. Apparently, the happy hour medication is the correct dosage.

I'm thinking along the lines of this. I do all the cooking and the dishes so I should buy myself something nice
When I got out of hospital I could hardly move and she did the cooking. ....wish I'd stayed in hospital
I'm really thinking that a pull out sprayer would be kind of cool

I'm in the same boat. Do more of the dishes camping then at home (is that why the wife likes camping) and am happy with the faucet I have.

My wife loves the faucet in our Alpine for two reasons, 1) it is a very nice faucet for OE, I was impressed. 2) it never gets used. I set up a dishwashing station outside by the waterworks station. I wash the dishes most of the time, but every now and then send the kids to do it.

Speaking of trailer plumbing, I will add that we really like the shower much more now after installing an Oxygenics shower head.

I went looking this morning and it seems that all the nice ones are chrome.
I have the brushed ones, would the chrome ones look just as good?

Depends on everything around it. If you have other brushed accessories near the sink probably not, if you don't , the chrome will look fine

Yeah the plastic sink has the brushed look to it. I'm thinking that I'll be going to my plumbing supplier and see what he can bring in for me.
