Broken dinette :(

I cracked the edge of the dinette table in my 2013 Keystone cougar (28RBS). The interior is "bronze"...any idea what the laminate name might be? Dealer is trying to locate the actual table to order but can't see it in his catalog so if I can find a similar laminate I may just make my own top.

Here is a list of all the tables available in the Cougar:

I believe the color of the laminate you're looking for is the Kona Koa that's on that page.

There's no picture of the table but the metal base is pictured...the folding table that becomes the bed base. If the table is $400! I think I'm going to need to sit down! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

You're welcome When I saw the price is when I started looking for alternatives. I believe the laminate is Kona Koa. If you can find that color at a "laminate or kitchen specialty shop" you can probably get enough to build 4 tables for less than $50.

Or, like in our Cougar, the table is a wooden one. You could build or buy a table top from Lowes in their "specialty wood" section and stain it to match the cupboards and mount it to your current table base.

I would sure hate to be eating my beans and franks off of a $400 table top !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope the dealer can find it. When I had to replace mine I sent my dealer a picture so he knew what decor I had and just had one sent in the next Premier that was being delivered. When it came in a towed over and they fixed it while I waited, all under warranty.

Sounds like Gary has the best dealer in the area! I'm afraid I won't be that lucky but I have to agree that I won't be paying $400. I'm all for grabbing a solid piece of wood and putting laminate down on it. Then I'll just route the sides and put the rubber molding back on. The company that makes the base has a toll free number on the legs so I'm calling them Monday and asking if they do final assembly there....who knows...they might simply attach their legs to the table tops and might be talked into sending me a table top for less than $400!

When mine came in it was just the table top. They removed all the hardware from my original table and installed it on the new one.

I do have a great dealer.

That is how they come. I normally get paid .4 hrs. To swap all the hardware.

Chuck, let's hope I can get a table top because right now, my dealer isn't going too swiftly on this. They are an awesome dealer thus far but this seems to be stumping them for some reason
