Bill and Kate, I agree - many campsites are too narrow for an attached screen room. The moveable type is more practical. On our Rpod, the only time we could use the screen room was when we were in the mountains boondocking. Also, it wasn't worth putting up unless we would be there for a while; but when we used it, it was really great.

Nice! It works well if you tuck the bottom of the flaps inside and then cover everything with a patio mat that matches the size of the room. That's what I did and of course, only my opinion!

Yeah, that is exactly what I was thinking. With things on top of the carpet I think I can skip staking it down for normal winds anyhow.

I have a vantage trailer and the side walls are curved not straight like on other trailers. Would the screen room work with the curved side wall? And also are the attachments to the trailer for both the attachment to the vertical end of the screen room and the strip along the bottom of the trailer velcro or do you need to screw attachment points into the trailer? ( I really don't want to penetrate the fiberglass wall of the trailer).

Having a screen room for long stays at one site really is appealing.

It would work with curved walls since it is held to the side of the trailer by a strap. The side wall is velcro'd around the strap. It may just have a slight amount of bunching towards the middle or outer portion of the curve.

The attachments come with strong double sided tape. It does say you can add screws if you want. I have mine secured with just the tape and it holds well. None have fallen off even with the hot sun shining on it while parked it the driveway.

Wanted to update this and share how much we love this upgrade! I realize some tight spots could have difficulty with this, and even at Fort Wilderness we had to get real tight to one side, but the extra room takes everything to a whole other level! Here are some pics from our 4 day weekend.

That looks so great. Forgot how nice it is when they're attached!

that looks like what I'd like, I want more room for the grandkids to sleep in when they are with us since our trailer is only 19 feet. Has anyone tried leaving the door open to get a/c into the room?

Our awning is 13 feet

You will not be able to air condition that space with the door open. It might possibly work with a window shaker A/C unit on the floor with side over it, but I doubt it would do much. Fans work pretty good for us.
