We picked up our new Cougar today at Brewbaker's RV. I went through it with a fine toothed comb (again) and couldn't find anything wrong with it. The PDI went very well, and believe it or not, the black tank and gray tank decals were marked correctly
The team at Brewbaker's did and excellent job both in helping us find the right RV and in prepping it for delivery. I couldn't find anything wrong with it and Jason was available for us to ask questions and to show us "how to" on everything we wanted to see. And yes, we ran the slides in using the manual mode, opened and closed the awning without power and disassembled the RV panels to access every hidden component (including the black tank flush anti-siphon valve).
We towed it home, (towed great) and spent the majority of the afternoon/evening loading things from the pole barn that were boxed from the Springdale. There are 22 overhead bulbs in that thing and I only had 16 LED panels, so the rest were ordered today. Part of the purchase was installing 2 6 volt batteries, a Marinco detachable plug, and installing the trailer hitch/wiring.
Tomorrow I'll install the Sensar add on for the TV antenna, the "fence post sewer hose holder" and the Fantastic vent fan in the bath.
We are pleased as punch and plan to tow it downstate for a family reunion soon!
