Post Proofread My RV Checklist

I am a relatively new owner of a Passport 238ML. Please help me proofread and/or contribute ideas for my RV checklist. I have attempted to cover the basic inspections and the pre-trip and arrival procedures. My aviation hobby taught me to like laminated checklists. Also, if I am unexpectedly away, I'd like a checklist my wife, or a guest, could use to be sure she has covered her bases.

I know it's not perfect, or maybe not even good. Please give me some feedback or ideas. Thanks! Also, feel free to use this for your own purposes, should that interest you.

Note: For whatever reason, the file size limit on PDFs on this forum is 19k, which is fairly small. So, I had to host the file on Scribd.

Nice job! I'm new to RVing also and just took delivery of our new Cougar. I know how you feel, as a new owner I don't want to forget to do something before leaving the house or campsite. Your list is very thorough and would be a great tool to insure everything is taken care of before the wheels hit the road.

The list looks flawless already, no obvious typos. The only items missing from the pre-trip procedure on my personal list are:

* Secure showerhead / shampoo
* Retract and secure awning
* Retract steps
* Retract handrail

Some people might add turning the fridge off, since it's a possible source of ignition if you pull into a gas station.

I carry spare light bulbs. Also you might add Check Tire Pressure and Check Lug Nut torque. I also carry a tire pressure gauge.

I have also have these items. Checked my lug nuts with torque wrench this morning before leaving for work. Always check the air pressure just before a trip on all tires that are driving down the road.
