Fridge Fan

Ok I know I have seen it in here before but can't find it now. I am going to add a fan outside in the fridge evaporator area to help out when it's hot. Just needing mounting ideas. I have a 327 RES.

Search on vent fridge fan and there are a number of threads on the issue.

Here's my pic from one of the threads showing the top of the Dometic fridge as viewed looking down into the upper vent opening. Just remember that this is for a fridge mounted in the slide with no roof venting so there is an upper and a lower vent on the outside wall.

If your rig has the fridge in a regular outside wall and has only one vent on the outside wall plus a roof vent, the fan mounting would be different than shown here.

Here's how the Valterra kit mounts:

Here's how somebody mounted one just under the cap of the roof vent:

Here's another one with fans up in the roof vent just under the cap. These are the solar power ones that you can buy in a kit, and you can see the little solar panels mounted to the cap, too.

Here's Dometic's plan for slide mounted fridge venting:

Here's one that is a bit extreme, but it's got work well!

If I remember correctly the 327RES has the fridge in the slideout same as my 326MKS.
It should of had a fan in the upper section of the fridge.
