Picking up my 2013 cougar 327res

Getting a reese 16k slider hitch. Towing with a 2003 F250 7.3 D. Any towing issues out there. I had a 31ft Jayco pull behind so this may take some getting use to?

Congradulations on the new Cougar, you will love the 327 we had a 2011 and loved it. You will not have any towing issues with the 7.3, they are a great engine, we have 2 of them. Have fun with the new trailer and Enjoy, Happy Campin...

327 res

Congrats on the new rig. We also bought a 2013 327 RES. Have been up to it three times so far. We keep it parked on a site all season so not much towing to relate. So far no issues. All systems have been working. Going up this weeknd (Front Royal, VA). PLanning a few modifications bu tnotheing major at this time. This is great site for information. I have to hand it to several who are very handy and imaginative with how they sove issues.

Think about also joining the 327 RES Cougar Group.

Happy Trails,

Springer

I hope this isn't redundant as I have just posted in another thread. We have a 2009 27' Cougar 1/2 ton series and are about to (okey, considering) a 327RES. The floor plan looks perfect and we will be going from one slide out to three (much more space!). We are looking at the 2014 which will be available the end of July but may have access to a "perfect condition" 2011 (the price difference is attractive). Anyway, after looking at all of the floor plans, I think the the 327RES is probably the best out there!

Congrats on the new Cougar. We pick our's up on Thursday. And like others, after seeing so many 5ers over the past 18 months it took only minutes for us to decide this layout was perfect for us. So excited!!

Let us know how you like it so far. Any tips for us newbies to the Cougar world?

Cougar

If we hadn't decided we wanted a bedroom slide out we probably would never have been looking at a new model. The one we are trading in has been great. Now we're just looking forward to a bit more room and this was has it. I'm sure you'll be happy with yours. And you are right, it seems like when anyone looking sees this model they know right away its the one!
