All depends where the regulator is in the system. Some trailers have a unregulated High pressure line that would work on but many the regulators are right behind the tanks and doing it that way would require removing the regulators of the appliances (Grills/Stoves/etc.). Some people have claimed success double regulating the propane but the large majority say they have too low a flame and some claim their grills are blown out with the least amount of wind.

What trailers have a high pressure line other than from the tank to the regulator? There are no appliances in a travel trailer that use unregulated propane.
