'12 Loredo 266RL Rear Stabilizer Failure

While driving at 60 MPH my rear elec. stabilizers extended & started draging on the pavement. This resulted in a bent arms & I was able to partialy retract them (electrically) & tied them to the frame with rope.
Luckily the noise & a passing motorist alerted me in time.
I am on an extended trip from Albany, NY to Houston presently in New Orleans. We leave Houston the day after Thanksgiving to rush home, winterizing on the way North before winter storage. As you can see we don't have time for repairs on the way.
All I can deduce is that the switch must have inadvertently activated, but at the time I was on a smooth Interstate.
