Fuzion- More storage

Decided to ad an inverter to my 379, while doing so I stumbled upon som free extra storage room just waiting in the underneath compartment. It was pretty simple, only took about 20 minutes, and cost me nothing. Not sure if the other models have this hidden/wasted space but may be worth checking.
1. Remove two inspection panels on the left. This opens up the wiring disaster. I elected to clean up the wiring which was pretty easy an consisted of just rerouting some wires to eliminate clutter. Yes I know nobody came see it but it bothered me.
2. The plastic panel that is formed at 40-45 degree-ish angle. Remove the screws mounting it to the floor. Using a straight edge and a razor blade I scored the outside of the bend. This allowed the panel to bend to 90 degrees opening up about 6 more inches of the compartment. I used a piece of thin 1”x1” aluminum angle I had at home but can be picked up at a hardware store and placed it behind the 90 degree bend and screwed it in place to add rigidity. Then screw back to floor.
3. At this point, I installed and wired my inverter to the roof of the compartment.
4. I found some extra ducting that I cut down to cut down on weight. Lol. 5.Reinstall the two side/inspection panels and enjoy the extra space.

Also in the pics are the various items I found laying around in there.

That's interesting. I've found some weird stuff but have to say I've never found or seen a 1/2 dozen horse shoes! I wonder what they attach with those?
