Lippert Solid Stance Step Stabilizer
I installed, but yet to use, the new Lippert Solid Stance Step Stabilizer. I have been watching it on their website for some time and it finally became available earlier this week.
The install was fairly straight forward requiring four 3/16" diameter holes to be drilled for each stabilizer and then mounting it to the underside of the bottom stair. The mounting was the most difficult aspect for a few reasons. The frame of the stabilizer had to be spaced away from the underside of the step using supplied washers. That meant having to do a test fit to determine how many washers were required. Threading on the nuts was also difficult because they were at the bottom of the deep but narrow channel. Installing two stabilizers took less than an hour.
