Yeah it said to pull from converter or battery to make sure it's a good ground. I appreciate your input. I can figure out but it will take me longer than you guys that work on them all the time.

Yeah, sometimes it takes a couple of detours. I will admit when it comes to troubleshooting electrical in an RV, my luck has me starting at the wrong end about 90% of the time LOL

I posted a schematic a few posts above. It seems right. It's definitely different then what I'm used to lol. A different approach to thermostats as well. Most separate fan powered ac systems would have there own control power source and you would utilize a split rh rc terminal.

Thanks for the time and info guys.

I ended up tying into the yellow -12v at the furnace and ran it to the thermostat. That got the furnace working like it should. Tomorrow I'll tie the ac -B to the blue at the thermostat and see how that goes.

Ok good luck. When I hear about a problem... It becomes my problem too. I like to figure things out

I couldn't wait, so just went and added the ac -B to the blue wire on the thermostat that I jumped the -12v from the furnace yellow and bam, both furnace and ac systems are working like a gem.

For the -12v that I jumped from the furnace, I just crimped a female spade on the wire and added it to the furnace where another yellow was coming off. Is this alright or should it be further down the line?

Should be ok. Now go get an adult beverage and sit back and enjoy.

All the neg wires should go together. It says to pull a negative at the ac from the converter or battery for a good ground. You should have the w wire from thermostat to a blue wire at furnace that goes to gas valve switch (valve switch)
Red wire from thermostat R terminal going to furnace red. (put a wire nut on the blue wire that goes to 12volt pos. You won't need that one. Hook your b terminal from thermostat to yellow at the furnace 12- and that also goes to ac 12-
I'm going by the schematic in post #15

I finally had a chance to get all the wires ran properly and everything buttoned up. Everything is working as it should. It's so much nicer than the analog and knob controls.

Thanks a lot for all the assistance

A simpler question on this same furnace. I have a NT-20SEQ and would like to switch to a digital thermostat. My AC unit is separate so I just need it to work the furnace. Any suggestion as to which digital thermostat would be appreciated.
Thanks
