That is correct, the inverter and the one battery is in the front compartment and without a generator there is plenty of room for another.

The trailer/hydraulic battery and hydraulic pump are in a compartment on the door side and there is also room for another battery as well.

Your residential fridge is gonna require more amperage draw from that battery than you realize

I wonder if the tiny charge line wire will be sufficient to make up the 10 amps drawn by the fridge plus any other 12 volt loads?

Sandy, Go to JCRefrigeration.com and see if their compressor cooling unit will fit your needs. They change your current absorption fridge to a residential fridge type system, only stronger. Hand made and high quality. They Have 12V or 120 AC units. They are very low amp draw. The 12V does not require an inverter. Unless you are looking for a larger fridge, this is a great option. I have one and in 100+ degrees my freezer was -7 and fridge was 37. Check it out!

I don't know the charging amps but on my F350 the fuse is a 30 amp of that I'm sure.
I also have completely charged a low battery on a 5 hour drive.

a 30 amp fuse at 12 VDC will provide 360 watts of power. That same 360 watts at 120VAC is 3 amps. Most residential refrigerators are in the 10 amp range, which is 1200 watts of power or "roughly" 1/3 of the capacity of a 12 volt/30 amp circuit.

Mine does. I was at 12.2 volts when I started per the one control app. After an hour of driving I was at 12.3 volts with the same monitor. It’s not fast but it works.

You should be able to look up your refrigerator's power usage and divide that by your batteries available amp hours.

Everyone's answer would be different based on that information.

One has to also remember that the refrigerator is not running 100% of the time. Probably less than 50% of the time in all reality. The other ~50% (or more) of the time, when the refrigerator is in “standby”, 99.9% of the charge is going to the batteries.

I used a Kill A Watt meter measured over several days. My Samsung uses 1,500 Watt Hours per day. My factory supplied twin 12V 75AH batteries or 900 W hours (2batteriesx12Vx75AHx50%) would last 14.4 hours IF there were no other loads. Figure half that number to be realistic or 7 hours.
I replaced those batteries as soon as I got home with a pair of Trojan T105's and installed a Trimetric TM-2030RV battery monitor. Now I have 1,350 Watt Hours usable which is theoretically good for 21.6 hours. I figured my other loads were equal to the frifge, so 10.8 hours. I actually went 6 hours before turning on the generator for 6 hours because I didn't want to run them down even to the 50% mark, and it takes a long time to fully charge lead acid which is why my next change was to 4,800 watt hours of Lithium for 3.2 days of fridge only.

Battery Monitor

I have a 2019 333MK with a residential fridge. We left S.E. Florida 4 weeks ago and I have 2 batteries just for the inverter and fridge. After 8 hours or so, I checked the batteries and was down to 89%. So the truck, while running, was charging the batteries, but not when we were stopped. Not sure of the SIZE of the batteries, but if they last all day driving...I'm happy.
I use this battery monitor to keep tabs on the inverter batteries at any time with my phone.

I have a residential fridge in my Alpine and don’t even try to run on your house battery. I installed 4 x 230 amp hour batteries solely for the fridge and found out when going to AZ last fall that the WFCO Converter could not even get close to charging the battery after a days travel. I used my Honda Generator to recharge the batter each evening (stayed at Flying J) and this worked. Made sure ice maker was off so it uses substantially less power. To keep the batteries charged I installed a DC to DC charger when I got back to Canada. Doing my first trip in 2 weeks and will arrive with full batters and cold beer. Basically of the 920 amp hours you have only 460 usable amp hours and that is on perfect batteries. From my experience I only assume a max of 24 hours of usable fridge time. However, the key is to turn everything to very low setting before you leave and the set to normal temperature just as you leave Only open it as little as possible while travelling. I also just installed to portable solar panels so we can go off the grid if needed. I hope this helps.

We also have a residential fridge, 3 door Frigidaire, and have traveled all over the country, day after day, and it has never missed a lick. And yes, it is still running in the morning, 6 volt batteries are fine. It maybe due to the dual alternators in the truck, but over all, I don't see a problem.

Back when we had the original 2 group 24 “hybrid “ batteries......about 8 hours . Needless to say one battery was ruined within the first year.
