bookshelves, makeup mirror, UV window covers
My wife and I tend to accumulate lots of written material in our travels, which leads to a cluttered trailer. I solved the problem by constructing bookshelves that fit into unused spaces in our RV - behind a swivel rocker and against a wall at the back of the unit. (See attached pictures.)
My wife requested I install a makeup mirror in the bathroom. I made a base plate for it out of birch plywood which I framed in redwood. (See picture.)
Our RV interior suffers from UV exposure during the intense summers of Northern California. We solved the problem my purchasing cheap foil-fronted windshield sun screens from Walmart, then cutting and taping them together to fit each window in our trailer. They fit between the glass and the blinds, which are lowered to keep them in place. (See picture.)
