Drilling through walls advice

We have a 2016 Keystone Impact 312 toyhauler. Need to install some wire racks on interior wall in garage section to hold misc. items for organization. Keystone said the studs are 16" centers, we are only able to find one on the front wall section of the garage. We realize we must be very careful not to hit wires etc.
1) Any suggestion on what type of hardware to use: screws/molly bolts/etc.
2) Are the 16" center studs across the interior wall of garage?
3) Any other advise on how to install this wire rack system?

I have the same trailer. I started at the bottom of the wall and pushed on it to find the studs. Then I drilled a test hole to locate the stud and started from there. That way I was sure of where the stud was and if I did make a mess it was not visible. I installed a shelving system in the front of my trailer with the arms that are adjustable if I can get a picture I'll post one for you.

Probably use sheet metal screws if you have aluminum studs. I've screwed into mine on my TT and they grip pretty easily. Good luck and Happy Camping!

Self drilling/tapping sheet metal screws work well with the aluminum studs. As for finding them, tapping on the wall, giving a little push both work. There is solid foam insulation behind the wallboard, it will flex a bit, the stud will not. Also has a much different sound when tapping on it.

the aluminum studs are paper thin and not in much of a "stud" pattern. I used a infared (FLIR) camera to find the studs on the wall of my garage. I think I had a 30+ inch span w/o any studs.

Front and back walls differ from the side walls that are 16" on center. 30 +"x 3= 90+" then and your side walls and your close to the overall width.

I noticed there are 2 studs next to each window that are spaced 3-4 inches apart, and nothing between that. I wish I saved the pictures.
