Without seeing pictures it's just a guess. My first thought is it's delamination. Possibly from a leak?

Can't tell what that means.Could be delamination but does not sound like it. Perhaps a better description????

One thing at a time ..... Your warranty was one year unless you purchased an extended warranty. Your roofing material has a ten or twelve year warranty from it's manufacturer. From what you are describing you are looking at the seam sealant covering the screws that hold the plastic front cover and the rubber roof together. From the ground it may look like "lumps and bumps" but from a ladder or from the roof you can see that it is lap sealant covering screws. This is normal. If this is not what you are seeing perhaps a photo or different description may help.

Hey biggbaby, i too have seen this on travel trailers, expecially Cougars. It sort of looks like dents or wavy fibreglass. No cracks or leaks but does look ugly. I see it on almost every used Cougar in town. I searched the net but can not find anything on this topic which surprised me as it is easy to see on alot of trailers.
