Adding outside baggage door to a hideout.

Looking at trading in our Bullet on a new 38 bhhds hideout as we are now seasonal campers and parked. Only issue we have is the hideout has zero outside storage doors. There is one spot we can add but not sure how hard it would be for the dealer to do after the one year warranty is up?? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

A competant dealer should be able to open up the area you have and add that baggage door. But with that said, you have to first be able to pay that big cost ($100/hour plus) and secondly, know that he is entirely capable of making a hole in the outside skin, reinforcing the wall structure to as good or better as manufactured then install a door that wont leak. This is probably a mod that a DIYer (you!) with decent tools is the best choice .
