Towing a 2008 Raptor 3612 with a new Silverado 2500HD?

I’m new to the form and have a question on a 2008 Raptor 3612 towing weight. I have a 2015, Silverado 4x4, crew cab, 4.10 axle, with a 6.0L gas engine. The Chevy book has Maximum trailer weight of 14,000 lb. and GCWR of 20,500 for a fifth-wheel trailer.

Long story short, can I pull the Raptor 3612 through Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee without having issues when loaded with a RZR that weights 1,000lb and 4wheeler that weights 600lbs plus full water tanks and gas?

You need a lot more truck or a lot less trailer/toys.

The GCWR for your truck (truck/trailer/everything) is 20,500. Trailer dry is 11615 plus 4885 payload = 16500lbs. (2500lbs over max trailer weight). Truck weighs 6236 plus 3441 payload = 9667lbs. 16500 (trlr alone max load) + 9667 (truck and payload) = 26177lbs.
26177lbs (actual gcwr) minus 20,500 (max allowable gcwr) = 5677lbs overweight WITHOUT any toys.

Hitch weight for that trailer is 2820lbs. Max payload for truck is 3441lbs. 3441 less 2820 for hitch = 621 lbs of payload left in truck for people etc. No way you can start to put much of anything but people in the truck.

Goes back to my first statement.

Oh, by the way welcome to the forum!!

Sourdough's info is on the the right track. I recommend you use the online tool that provides a realistic tow capacity for any vehicle. RV Tow Check
