When I bought my current DRW off the lot it had the dual alternators in it. I noticed that on the long trips when we are overnighting at truck stops and WalMarts, the duals charged the dual 12v's in the 5er much faster. I just ordered a new DRW a couple of weeks ago and I opted to get them again. We are planning on going Full Time in about a year, and the new 5er will have a Res fridge with 4-6v's.

My 2500HD is pulling my toyhauler around with no problems at all. I think you will be pleased with the Dmax and the truck overall. Empty on a long highway run I get 21 mpg, pulling 15,000 pounds I get around 10 mpg.

The exhaust brake is nothing short of awesome when pulling around your rig.
