Slideout Keeps Jaming

Our livingroom slide keeps jamming and locking up when it is brought in. It will not go out until I crawl under to the access panel and manually crank the slide mechanism to get it started. As soon as I get it started, I can use the electric button to take it out the rest of the way. I downloaded a copy of the Lippert electric slideout service manual and I know that the problem is with the slideout "stop can". Prior to the last trip I moved the strop can in 3/4" to prevent the jam. When I arrived at our campsite the slide was jamed again. The manual just addresses adjustments and not slideout jams. Am I correct that the slidout stop can needs to be moved inand not out?

I think you need to move it out. You don't want it to push hard into the frame and put a bind on it.
