Anyone ever add windows to F/R of slideout?

Some slideouts have a window on the front or rear of the slideout for more light. Ours has neither. Could we order a "replacement" Keystone part and have the dealer/window shop cut it in? This would be for the front of our larger living room slide on the 3220BH.
TIA!

Sounds doable. You probably should just contact a dealer and ask them. Our fiver had the windows you are talking about and they really did add a lot of light to the room.

Can't hurt to ask Your trailer is new enough that I'd think Keystone would still have the matching window coverings too.
If your dealer won't do it, look for a reputable "RV repair" shop in your area.
Suggestion - get a window that opens, for more airflow.

Keep us posted on the outcome!

I would have structural concerns. just like your home RVs have framing around the windows. To do a proper install that is structurally sound you would need to install a header and sill plate. A fully framed window also provides strong attaching points for the window frame. I'm sure it can be done, but there's more to it than just cutting a hole and slapping in a window. Also, if there is a wall stud in the spot that you want to place the window, it would need to be properly cut and braced or you will weaken the wall which could cause other problems. The fiberglass wall board provides the majority of the strength to your walls, but the framing provides the structure. I would be nervous about compromising any of it.....with all of that said, it is just in the slide which has very little surface area and doesn't provide much of the structural strength to your RV so it would be less of a concern as the main walls.

If you make any modifications during the 1-year warranty period to the frame or structure of your RV without Keystone's approval, it will void your warranty. I note that you have a 2013 model which is now probably out of warranty but anyone else considering a similar kind of modification might wait until the period has lapsed before proceeding.
