15A Outlet/Backup Camera

Hi Smitty like the fireplace nice job on the mantel,I also like the 15amp outlet
you installed on the back of the trailer.
I installed a rearview camera over the back window when I drilled a 3/4 hole
I was suprised to see only 1/8 lawan skin,is that what was at the bottom
where you drilled the hole for the outlet?
I worry that the skin is to thin ,I'm thinking of putting a steel plate on the inside for support for the camera.
did you think that 1/8 will hold the outlet ok?

The luan is OK for something like a shore power inlet that isn't going to have anything bounding off of it while you're going down the road, but it'd very soft wood and the thin skin of fiberglass covering it won't support much bouncing and anything that's hanging on a bracket will eventually pull out. I would figure out some way to install a backing for it.
